RAI developed acoustic baldachins in order to reduce noise coming from automatic machines, robots, transporters and similar noise sources, whose production processes are run by lasers, ultrasound, or remote controlled and which cannot have any mechanical obstacles or barriers in their immediate vicinity.

Acoustic baldachins noise reduction is based on three effects: membrane resonance (“noise by noise”) on critical frequency, sound absorption and sound insulation.

Dimensions and shape of baldachins are determined by acoustic software calculations and are adjusted to meet the technological process of noise source.
